Depends on Trimester: Usually in the first trimester only emergency treatment for dental problems should be done. The second trimester is generally okay to have more routine treatment done. The third trimester is also acceptable as long as the patient is comfortable in the dental chair to have treatment done. Usually, tylenol (acetaminophen) and an antibiotic like Amoxicillin can be taken safely to help with problems.
