Tooth pain for a year. finally go to dentist, they send me to endodontist. i have 4 cracked teeth. i now have to go see an orthodontist. i cant get in to see them for two months. who am i supposed to go to if the pain gets worse?

Why do you have to go to see Orthodontist? My thoughts are that Endodontist will be able to alleviate discomfort. Ask Endodontist if he/she can get pain under control, because you can’t see Orthodontist for two months. If Endodontist won’t help you, find another Endodontist.

Pain indicates infection, often seen with cracked teeth. Cracked teeth often indicate poor Endodontics prognosis, and removal is often indicated. You were probably ly referred to an Oral Surgeon for removal of the cracked teeth, not an Orthodontist who would straighten them.If Oral Surgeon can't see you, find a different Oral Surgeon. Ask your General Dentist to recommend.
