After the proper diagnosis is made, your dentist will give the instruction on how to take the prescribed drugs. Again seek professional help do not self medicate.

Call Your Doctor: Any anti-inflammatory medication can help. Aleve, motrin, advil & even a holistic alternative arnica. Ice to minimize swelling can also be helpful.Tylenol (acetaminophen) is a good over the counter pain med. Tramadol needs to be prescribed. Call the doctor who prescribed it for you. It sounds like you need to see a dentist to remove the cause of the pain. Pain medication only masks the symptoms.
