What is the normal dosage of ultracet (tramdol and acetaminophen) to take following a tooth extraction that includes stitches and a bone graft?

No more than 8/day!: The dosage for ultracet (tramdol and acetaminophen) is 1-2 tabs every 4-6 hours as needed. Do not use more than 8 tabs/day! also, it's very important to know that ultracet (tramdol and acetaminophen) contains Acetaminophen ("tylenol"), so you mustn't use any other medication containing Acetaminophen while using this drug. If you have breakthrough pain while using ultracet (tramdol and acetaminophen), you may take aspirin, or Ibuprofen ("advil", "motrin"), or naproxyn ("aleve").

Dosage varies: For the short-term (five days or less) management of acute pain, the recommended dose of ultracet® is 2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours as needed for pain relief, up to a maximum of 8 tablets per day.
