Anxiety can also be associated with unusual thoughts or speech.

Anxiety: That is good you are getting your schedule back. Did you have anxiety prior to going back to a "normal" sleep schedule? I would focus on deep breathing, try some meditation apps and if this does not help, you can seek out cognitive behavioral therapy.

Talk to your doctor: Insomnia, anxiety, and racing thoughts, could be addressed by your physician, psychiatrist, or psychologist.  They can be symptoms of several mental disorders, and can be treated. To understand these problems, it would be important to know how often they occur, how long they last, and how much they impact your daily life. "sleep hygiene" is often helpful for insomnia. Talk to your doctor.

on zyprexa 2 wks for impulse, anxiety and racing thoughts. have ocd, possible bipolar and anxiety. was helping... now i'm very panicky and having very calm suicidal thoughts and strange thoughts too. does this get better? does it get worse b4 better?

have you ever heard of racing thoughts when you eat anything? what illness could cause this? i have no anxiety or stress, so it isn't that.

Not medical: Racing thoughts are usually associated with psychiatric diagnoses or intoxication syndromes. Anxiety, mania, hypomania, and some schizophrenic patients complain of them. Hyperthyroidism might cause it but I would expect that to happen at other times as well instead of just when eating. Best to talk with a physician or psychiatrist about it.
