Bladder biopsy

Bladder biopsy

Share

Link copied

A bladder biopsy is typically done during a cystoscopy whereby a urologist inserts a special camera into the bladder and is able to take a piece of tissue (biopsy) to be further examined by a pathologist under the microscope. The pathologist then makes a specific diagnosis which can range from benign to malignant.
