A member asked:

Blood in urine two weeks after bladder biopsy - normal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Biopsy scab: Bleeding 10 days to 2 weeks after biopsy is common and usually reflects sloughing of the scab formed when the biopsy was taken. It usually is a self limited process (resolves on its own) unless the biopsy was from a tumor, in which case the bleeding will be more unpredictable.
