Hyaluronidase
Hyaluronidase is an enzyme that degrades hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a mucopolysacharide that is part of the ground substance of the dermis so the enzyme hyaluronidase is part of the bodies homeostatic mechanism. Cosmetically hyaluronic acid is injected into people to improve wrinkles. If too much is injected it can be removed by injecting hyaluronidase.
