Does help: Pcos causes irregular periods, lack of ovulation and increase chance of endometrial hyperplasia. Depo Provera (medroxyprogesterone) is high dose Progesterone so it prevents hyperplasia and encourages a decrease in bleeding over time. It does not help the hair growth some women get with pcos. And some women gain a little weight with Depo-Provera provera.
