I had an open myomectomy for removal of fibroids 22 days ago. i know that it is recommended not to have sex for 6 weeks after the surgery. but i dont know if it includes mastrubation (no penetration). im embarrassed to ask the question to my doctor?

Doc suggested open myomectomy after lap & removal of endo adhesions. I have four 5cm fibroids would lap myomectomy not be possible & less invasive?
