If the infection is not cleared by that time -yes. Chlamydia does not always produce symptoms.

Assuming the infected person is taking the recommended antibiotic (doxycycline), he will not be able to transmit the infection by day 7. Don't worry about it. However, if you had sex with him before he was treated, you need antibiotic treatment yourself. Good luck.
