A member asked:

My pap results say negative for intraepithelial lesion or malignancy with acute inflammation. what does this mean? been tested for stds twice all negative but uti and group b strep positive. could this be the cause?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes. It means no cancer or pre-cancer areas but irritation from some agent. GBS can do this as can other germs causing vaginitis/cervicitis.
