More info needed: This depends on appearance of the cervix and results of other tests. Cryotherapy might be recommended if there is substantial cervical ectopy (also sometimes called ectropion), and if it is causing symptoms, like vaginal discharge or spotty bleeding, and if no STD like gonorrhea, chlamydia, or trichomonas. Also, sometimes an antibiotic (e.g. doxycycline) is tried first. Discuss w/ your ObG.
