Age 29, had a pap smear with results as asc-us and positive for hpv - other high risk, and negative for hpv 16 &18. last pap smear was at age 21. what does this mean? what happens next? is it very likely that i have cancer?

HPV sometimes disappear by itself and even if persistent does not necessarily lead to cancer- just regular check ups are needed. If you had cancer- which you dont your doc would have told you
