A member asked:

How can someone be diagnosed with vaginal genital warts if they have truly had zero sexual contact ever. no touching what so ever. not even kissed anyone before. never shared sex toys either. warts confirmed by multiple doctors?

Without sex, anogenital warts are associated with HPV types typically isolated from common warts (types 1 and 2) and this type of warts is usually seen in children. So in your case, lesions are confirmed warts but those warts are not caused by the common genital HPV 6 & 11 in adults via sex.

Yes it can happen tho it is extremely rare. Use of a contaminated instrument in a doc's office near the vagina, infected Gym seats, toilet seats, infected sanitary napkin your own infected hand touching the area for cleaning etc. are some ways as the virus is very hardy. I hope your treatment works and you are well again
