Discrete blood on stool and burning sensation near rectum may indicate some superficial damage to the rectal mucosa or anus which is typically caused by hard sections of stool. Focus on increasing the fiber in your diet (fresh vegetables, fruits and nuts), increase your water intake (2.5-3 liters daily) and make sure that if symptoms persist, you are seen by your regular Dr for evaluation.
