Hi i saw bright red blood on stool and on toilet paper after bowel movement! i have no pain or discomfort just the blood. my dr said likely internal piles and told me to take more fiber. could it be cancer? im 32. is colon cancer common at my age?

Unless you have a family history of early onset colon cancer, cancer is unlikely. However internal piles need to be treated to prevent anemia from blood loss You may wish to see a surgeon
