A member asked:

I am hpv positive and i fingered myself and then licked my fingers. did i transfer the virus to my mouth? also, am i able to kiss someone and not transfer the virus to the other person?

Doubt it: While you could have HPV in your throat the activity you describe is unlikely to be a cause. By the time you know you have HPV you have antibodies in your system that reduce the chance of it spreading to a distant site. Saliva also has anti-germ properties in general. Kissing is not a common source of transfer.
