A 26-year-old female asked:

how long hpv virus(genitals) survive on surface? like on sxtoys, underwear, toilet bowl, finger, razor, bedsheet etc.

Nobody really knows: Nobody knows how long HPV viruses survive on real-life inanimate surfaces. We vaccinate, and don't worry about objects transmitting such viruses unless the humans have such viruses and are intentionally getting viruses onto the objects. Is pelvic pain in pregnancy normal?

Dr. Richard Chudacoff

Yes: Pelvic pain or pelvic pressure can be normal in pregnancy. However, it can also be an indication of a more severe problems such as a tubal pregnancy or a bleeding ovarian cyst. In later trimesters the pubic bone can stretch or even separate, also cause pain with walking. Lastly ovarian cysts can occur and twist, call torsion. Any time you have severe pelvic pain you should see your gynecologist.

Should I be concerned about a bumpy crusting rash on my vagina while pregnant?

Dr. Patrick Weix

Yes: This should be mentioned to the doctor at the next OB visit. It may be nothing concerning, but one possibility for a "bump" that forms a small blister that then has a crust is herpes. Other possibilities can be infected hair follicles or yeast. If it is herpes, it could change your delivery plan or require antiviral medications during pregnancy.

Scrotal pain in the vas deferans--can it be torsion?

1 doctor answer1 doctor weighed in
Dr. Howard Tay
Urology 31 years experience
Scrotal pain: This question can't be answered properly on this forum. I recommend that you seek immediate medical attention to ensure that you don't have torsion. Torsion is time-sensitive and can only be diagnosed by physical exam and either a scrotal ultrasound or testicular scan. Seek immediate medical attention is my best advice to you. www.peedoc.com @drhtay.

Same or different: No one is the same so their symtoms will be slightly different but generally they will have similar symptoms.
