Recommend: a colposcope exam of the cervix to look with a 10x magnification of cervix, for potential pre cancerous cells that can be treated to prevent cervical cancer.

Needs follow-up: High risk HPV warrants close monitoring with repeat PAPs or as has been suggested, a colposcopic examination to identify any abnormal areas and treating those. In any case, please follow your doctor's advise for follow-up. You should still take HPV vaccine to prevent infection with other strains of HPV.
