What would be a good remedy for hormonal, facial cystic acne caused by pituitary tumor? i already tried spironolactone & bcps without much success.

Facial acne: Pituitary tumors which affect hormonal functions are rare. Facial acne is usually a function of fluctuations in estrogen production, and that is not always b/c of a pituitary tumor. Bcp's will control facial acne, but depend on taking the active pills in the evening, at the same hour each day to avoid estrogen withdrawal, which causes the acne. Try another brand of low dose oral bcp's.
