I got prescribed spironolactone but i dont have hormonal acne just a couple pimples that come and go either on my forehead or cheeks should i not take the medication or can it help prevent those pimples from coming at all?

When a medicine is prescribed- pl ask the prescriber what the diagnosis is and what is the for, possible side effects and way of taking it. So call your doc pl- we cant diagnose without seeing the problem. Good luck
