Neither: 2 medications you are taking are effective, aczone and tazorac, (tazarotene) when the acne becomes inflammatory and widespread then oral tretinoin (accutane) may be very helpful, this is prescribed only by dermatologists, has many side effects but may be worth the hassle, avoid pregnancy at all costs as this drug is teratogenic
