Worried about tertiary syphilis from 10y ago, had symptoms but tested negative on trep tests. doc gave me doxy 200x2 a day and tested again after finished, negative again. can doxy cause false negative clia trep antibody test?

Both false positive and false negative tests have been reported. Are you experiencing any suspicious symptoms or tertiary syphilis? I doubt you have it, but for peace of mind, consult a specialist in STDs or in infectious diseases for evaluation and advice.
