Ive had three HSV IGG CLIA blood tests done (4, 6, & 7 months post exposure). HSV 2 is negative but HSV 1 is inconclusive. What do three equivocal HSV 1 (.90) results mean? Should I consider this negative or positive? Two years ago, it was negative?
STD panel all came negative except HSV-1 IgG test- high positive(22.5). HSV-2 IgG negative. I have no symptoms or any outbreaks ever. Last year I tested all negative. I am really worried. Can I be false positive for HSV-1 or do any confirmatory test?
Thank for your help. My IGg HSV-1 level was 38.10 post 5.5 week encounter with a woman who is positive. We had oralsex & kissing. Is this normal after a one time encounter. Other forums have told me with those numbers Ive had it for a while?
How accurate is a blood test for type specific ab hsv 1&2 igg after waiting 5 years to test from possible exposure? I tested both negative in 2018 and 2020 but think I contracted oral herpes back in 2013?
