Lump under skin: If it is small and looks like it is where a hair follicle is located, it may be an ingrown or infected follicle. These resolve with time, or you can try a warm compress to try to draw out the infection and work out the ingrown hair. Also, there are many lymph nodes in the groin, so it may be one of those (they are normal). If painful, red, getting larger, go see a doctor.
