Steroids: You can sometimes treat phimosis with a steroid cream applied tot he foreskin. I use Betamethasone for my patients with phimosis that do not want a circumcision. However, i recommend you get checked bya urologist. There is one condition which causes phimosis which can be dangerous. It is called balanitis xerotica obliterans (bxo) and that requires surgical treatment.

PHIMOSIS: A topical steroid and some gentle manual stretching can be helpful. It takes 3 weeks or so of tx twice/day after a tub soak.
