Options: I agree with dr. Kurss. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications can be very helpful. Warm shower or heating pad( don't get burned) may also help with relaxing spasm.You can talk with your physician about options like omega 3 fatty acids and magnesium supplementation. Avoid excessive sugar and low quality carbohydrate intake. Don’t add extra salt to your food. See below.

PMS tips: There are a number of things you can help with cramps. Omega 3 fatty acid and magnesium supplementation can be beneficial. Avoid excessive sugar and low quality carbohydrate intake. Don’t add extra salt to your food and avoid processed foods containing extra salt. Reduce caffeine and alcohol use. Stay physically active.
