PMS and Pain: Premenstrual syndrome is the collection of symptoms experienced by hormonal changes starting after ovulation. Mild moodiness, abdominal bloating and cramps . These resolve with your period as Progesterone decreases. When the intensity of symptoms becomes incapacitating we call it pmdd (pre menstrual dysphoric disorder). Treatment is available and very successful.
