May not work.: That is not the usual treatment for Trichomoniasis. It probably will not work. That is a common treatment for other STD'd including chlamydia.

Trich treatment: Agree with Dr. Higginbotham. Trichomoniasis can be treated w one or multiple oral doses of metronidazole or tinidazole. These are antibiotics which your doctor can order. Metronidazole is 90 to 95% effective and tinidazole is 86 to 100% effective.
