Yes. Doxycycline is not affected by food, except dairy products (milk, ice cream, cheese, etc). But if in doubt about these or other foods, it's no big deal to just delay your next dose until 2 hours after eating. With rare exceptions, no antibiotic needs to be taken exactly on time.

Doxycycline may be taken with or without food. Taking the medication with food, such as bread or eggs, may be helpful if a person experiences stomach irritation while taking the medication on an empty stomach.
