Trichomonas ?: One problem with trichomonas infections is that if your partner was not treated, or has other sexual partners, it is very easy to return as a "re-infection". Metronidazole is the treatment of choice, but unless your symptoms are secondary to other kinds of bacterial or fungal sources , trichomonas can only be eradicated if all concerned are treated.
