PID?: If you had abdominal pain before treatment, you may have had pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), i.e. fallopian tube infection. PID is usually treated with more than one antibiotic and azithromycin alone may not be sufficient. Get in touch with your doctor right away. Do not just treat yourself with more azithromycin or other leftover antibiotic you may have.
