Very different: Pcos is a condition in which you have irregular cycles and symptoms of too much male hormone. Women with pcos usually have plenty of eggs. Low ovarian reserve means a woman is starting to run out of eggs and not likely to respond well to fertility drugs. Premature ovarian failure means the eggs have been depleted, an early menopause.

Good question: They can all happen in the same woman.Pcos is a hormonal/metabolic syndrome that can sometimes cause infertility but the issue is usually low Progesterone levels and poor egg quality due to Insulin resistance. Low ovarian reserve indicates a condition in which the number of eggs left are limited. This usually occurs before premature ovarian failure which is early menopause.
