A member asked:

I have pcos. about a year ago they all of sudden just became normal. as in only lasting about 2-4 days, light but the major difference is bad ovarian pain and upper stomach pain. only on periods though. any idea what's happening? not on any meds.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Irregular ovulation,: likely from polycystic ovarian syndrome, and insulin resistance. Causing hormone imbalance, slightly elevated glucose levels, leading to yeast recurrence and thickened uterine lining/cramping. Possible endometriosis, can be made worse by PCOS. See your doctor for treatment.
