Symptoms and labs: PCOS is a collection of symptoms that may include irregular periods, insulin resistance (lab), high testosterone (lab OR symptoms), and ovarian cysts ( ultrasound diagnosis). Premature ovarian failure is no periods)along with hormone changes (lab). There are very different treatments and other reasons for these symptoms (thyroid issues, pregnancy), so it's best to see a doctor for exam and labs.
