Maybe in your countr: But not in usa it is never done under total anesthesia, pain pills or pain shots or even IV pain meds could be given first, sometimes when the doc is doing a laparoscopy then dye can be injected the at that time and the doc is actually looking t the tubes to see the dye go through.

Consider IV sedation: It can be very uncomfortable. So you may consider IV sedation with or without anesthesia personals (additional cost). Gyn physician can order IV narcotics during the procedure. General anesthesia is rarely used -overdone.
