CKD formula variance: The egfr formula may have a 20-30% variance (underestimation) at egfr>50 ml/min. This means that the real GFR might be as high as 75 ml/min. More than one egfr would need to be reviewed. Dark urine is usually due to concentration of the urine with low fluid intake. A low bun/creatinine ration is suggestive of lower protein intake. Cloudy urine without symptoms is of no concern.

I'm not worried: This isn't science. The adjustment for race is there "because black people are more muscular than white people". BUN/creatinine ratio being low is never a problem if you feel even semi-well. Dr. F. has given you good advice. Just keep an eye on this and if your actual creatinine is up well above reference range for a time, get evaluated.
