A member asked:

Random urine micro albumin came back 2.5. for a routine physical.all labs normal. blood bun, creatinine normal egfr 71.5 concern? my dr not concerned

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Nephrologist: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, the findings your gave warrant consultation with a nephrologist to address the microalbumin and eGFR which should be more than 90.
