Nephrologist: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, the findings your gave warrant consultation with a nephrologist to address the microalbumin and eGFR which should be more than 90.

My husband is diabetic. He had a random urine after a fast so was dehydrated. The urine creatinine was 390, albumin 39 so the ratio was normal at 10. Could being dehydrated have caused the high numbers? His plasma creatine and bun were normal?
