Bun 28, creatinine 1.04, bun/cr ratio 27. im on high protein diet. could diet be the cause of high bun? all other blood and urine tests normal, egfr normal?

These are normal results, and yes, high protein diet could contribute. Creatinine is the more important indication of kidney function, not BUN. Nothing to worry about.
