Ankle Swelling: There are many reasons that the ankle may be swollen. It is hard to give a diagnosis without a full exam. A thorough exam and perhaps an MRI may be needed to fully investigate this. Try ice and anti-inflammatory medications in the meantime and seek care from a professional.
