Look up: Incompotent cervix, an issue where a weakended or shortended cerivx causes painless cerival dilation and second tirmester losses due to early delivery. The other may be a cord accident or autoimmune(but it is late for that problem). It can be difficult to say, sometimes there is an autopsy.
