What to take to ease the pain of inflamation of your intestines?

Abdominal pain: First it is important to find out what's causing your pain. Just don't write it off as inflammation. By this time you should have had a colonoscopy for screening; if not, you need an evaluation to learn more about what the problem is and what to do to treat.

What have you tried?: How do you know there is inflammation? Did your gastroenterologist tell you it was inflamed? Usually if it is inflamed they give you a prescription for medication. There really is nothing over the counter that works in the intestines. The medications over the counter work in the stomach but not further down. Talk to your gastroenterologist. Im sure they wuill have help. Sorry you have this pain.
