I have mild chronic gastritis, can i take pepcid ac twice a day long term to treat this? i cannot take ppi because it causes inflammation in my intestines and stomach cramps. doctor found out through cal protocin at 203 levels?

Pepcid can be taken twice daily for stomach symptoms as well as reflux symptoms. The maximum total dose per day is 40 mg. If symptoms continue after 4 weeks of treatment I would suggest you see your doctor.
