I have recently been diagnosed with pernacious anemia and ultrasound indicates 4mm gallbladder polyp. should i be concerned? thanks

Gallbladder polyp: There is no association between pernicious anemia and gallbladder polyps. The main concern with pa is gastric cancer so some doctors recommend that their patients undergo a screening endoscopy. Gallbladder polyps rarely cause problems and usually don't become cancerous.

No.: They are unrelated. Gallbladder polyps are usually asymptomatic. Your doctor may want to follow it with u/s periodically.
