Yes , but: Gallbladder polyps have risk of cancer , those polyps are large ( 20 mm or bigger ) but not 2 mm to 3 mm . These small shadows on sono could be observed safely , if size is increasing or symptomatic due to diseased gall bladder surgical removal gall bladder is indicated . some times cholesterol deposits are interpreted as polyps .especially multiple .
