Intervals!: The best way to improve your fitness is through interval training. Your maximum heart rate is 220-your age (so 198). Try this instead: 5 minutes warm up at a heart rate of 100-120 bpm, then alternate 30 seconds at 150-170 with 30 seconds at 100-120 for 5-6 minutes, then 5 minutes of cool down at 100-120. This is called interval training and is a great quick way to improve your fitness.
