Warm milk, dull book: Going back to sleep suggestions are the same as for falling asleep. Warm milk, dull book, etc. Insure that sleeping environment is quiet, comfortable temperature. If none of these "sleep hygiene" changes help, consider depression as a possible cause (early morning awakening is a common finding).
