Bloodwork from heel?: Are you speaking about bloodwork? If so, it should be same from heel as from other parts of body.

Good for screening: Peripheral DEXA scanning of the wrist, finger, leg or heel are widely available and make a good screening tool for osteopenia and osteoporosis. A central DEXA scan is more accurate for diagnostic purposes.
