Altho labs vary,: a BMP (basic metabolic profile) almost never measures calcium levels. However, it DOES measure those chemicals that are relevant for someone using spironolactone, in particular, your potassium (K+) level. If you want to know your calcium level, you could get a "comprehensive metabolic profile." Dr. Anne.
